Soft bounces typically indicate a temporary delivery issue to an address. When an email address soft bounces it means delivery to that address was attempted multiple times, but was not successful. We automatically stop sending to these email address. If this is the first soft bounce then check the email notification again. If you continue to have problems leave it turned off and try to contact the parent or student for a new email.
Some of the reasons this might happen
- Mailbox is full(over quota)
- Recipient email server is down or offline
- Email message is too large
